Easy DIY Acne Face Mask
Hello, my angels! Welcome to my blog again. I’m here with another DIY recipe for you and this one is about skincare. I have had so many requests on my Instagram for making an easy DIY acne face mask, so low and behold! Your prayers have been answered!
So, all my ladies having acne problem raise your hand! (LOL I just raised my hand too 😀 ). So acne problem is something I’ve dealt with since my teenage. My skin was never clear; I’ve always had pimples, acne scars and spots around my cheek and chin area and nothing worked for me.
Hailing from a Pakistani desi background, my mom was always worried about my face and experimented with so many homemade remedies. I have tried so many amazing facial products and serums, but nothing worked, except for this super easy DIY acne face mask. Honestly, this is the only easy DIY acne face mask that has actually worked for me and it will show results for you too.
It’s a very simple recipe and you will find all the ingredients in your kitchen. All you need is nutmeg, milk, and honey, and that’s it. Use it a couple of times a week, and you’ll really notice a visible difference within a month or two.
How Nutmeg (جائفل) and Honey Act as Key Ingredients in Making this easy DIY acne face mask:
Nutmeg has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties which is why it is so commonly used in Chinese and Ayurveda medicine for centuries.
It reduces the swelling of pimples, dries them out and balances oil control.
Honey has healing properties and gives moisture and hydration to dull skin. It is also antibacterial.
This is an amazing recipe for you if you have oily, combination or acne-prone skin! Follow these steps to make the easy DIY acne face mask
What You Need:
Fresh Milk or Rose Water-----2-3 tsps
Just add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix. Apply to your face using clean fingers or a brush. Be generous with layering the mask. Leave this on your skin for 15-20 minutes or until it dries.
In the meantime, make yourself a cup of tea or coffee and relax! Wash it off and pat your face dry (never rub your face!). Follow up with a good moisturizer. I use a few drops of coconut or almond oil or my Spa in a Bottle’s Youthful Glow serum.
And that’s it beauties! Let me know about your experience with this easy DIY acne face mask.
